Gregory Walker, Founder and Managing Director
Gregory Walker is an insurance advisor registered with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA (Register of Independent Insurance Intermediaries Nr. F01360359).
In 2010, Gregory Walker founded WALKER RISK SOLUTION LTD as an independent insurance broker serving the finance sector.
Before 2010, he held senior management positions and was member of the executive board at AIG Europe in Frankfurt and Zurich. His responsibilities included the underwriting of financial institutions’ professional liability risks. He also was a management consultant at Credit Suisse owned Fides Group and subsequently at KPMG Fides, where he led a team of the insurance practice.
Gregory started his professional career at Winterthur Insurance and later served as executive associate at Winterthur's Asia-Pacific division in Hong Kong and in Sydney.
Gregory is the author of several articles on executive risk and special liability insurance. He is also a lecturer on ‘Special Insurances’ for the CAS Insurance Broker-program of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
Gregory, a Swiss and British citizen, is Fellow of the U.K. Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) as well as an Associate in Enterprise-wide Risk Management (ARM-E) of The Institutes (AICPCU), U.S.A.
